Today I tore apart my first watch and made a steampunk ring. Tomorrow when the sun is up I will take some pics.  Daylight is so much better to take pictures in since both of my light bulbs burned out on my light box kit.

I have a question, though. Does it make a huge difference if there are no gears?? This was a battery operated Guess watch. I tore out the movement and glued it to a silver filigree adjustable ring. There is some black plastic sandwiched between the silver toned metal on each side of the movement. I tore out the battery and glued a brown resin rose cabochon in it's place. I also glued two tiny white Swarovski crystals near it. I took the minute hand, which is gold tone, and glued it to the movement under the crystals.

Over all I think it's kind of neat. I would definitely wear it. I think I will try to sell it though.
